Greater Charlotte Biz is Charlotte's business magazine serving its business-to-business and business-to-high-end-consumer readership for over a decade now.

Each month we feature a variety of business profiles on companies headquartered in the Charlotte region or having a substantial nexus to the Charlotte region (significant branch office).

We are currently seeking additional freelance writers to add to our distinguished staff of contributors.  Writers receive assignments approximately two weeks in advance of their completion deadlines and are expected to research the companies, interview the principals at their place of business, and produce well-written and cohesive articles of approximately 1,800 words for publication.  It is a high profile opportunity with significant exposure (over 100,000 readers).

Previous writing experience, proficiency in Internet research, and knowledge of spelling and grammar basics necessary.  Familiarity with the greater Charlotte business community and conformity to the AP Stylebook a plus.  Compensation varies with experience and assignment.  Interested writers please e-mail your background and one writing sample to jgalles@greatercharlottebiz.com.
